About Your Favorite Cat
Hey there! I’m Michael, but you may know me as TacCat from Facebook. You’d be surprised to know that my old Facebook page was made to promote content on my first website TacCat.Ninja.
At the end of 2020 though, Facebook finally axed my page, and my verified personal account. Instead of completely abandoning what I was trying to do, I thought it would be prudent to take the time to create a website that was more beneficial for new gun owners.
I got into firearms late in life in 2015 at the age of 21; my first pick was a CZ 75B in matte stainless to keep things classy. My very first time carrying concealed was that exact gun…in a horizontal shoulder holster… underneath a T-Shirt. That day I realized there was more to carrying a firearm than just slapping it on. A few months later I decided it would be wise to focus on handguns initially since I would depend entirely on one for self-defense.
Now, several years later, I’ve still got a lot to learn, but I’ve learned quite a bit along the way, and made several mistakes that I want to see new gun owners avoid on their adventure into concealed carry.
