Some sad, breaking news has come up in the last couple of days. This year will be the very last year for the Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot; the largest machine gun shooter & military gun show in the world. To paint a picture for those that aren’t familiar, in 2019 ABC used footage from the 2010 Knob Creek Shoot saying that they had obtained footage of “a fierce battle between the Syrian Kurds and Turkish Forces.” For those that used to watch R. Lee Ermey’s Mail, the shoot was featured in episode 91.
This sad news doesn’t get brought to us as another COVID-19 business death, but the owner of the business saying it’s time to wrap things up due to age. According to the few “news alert” photos I’ve seen like below they’re saying that October 2021 will be the last machine gun shoot being hosted by them ever. After having called them I’ve been able to confirm that this year will be the last year for the machine gun shoot, but that the October timeline isn’t set in stone as of yet.
